– Thomas Matheson, a 27-year-old New Port Richey man was jailed Tuesday
after he allegedly twisted the nipples off a 2-year-old boy he was
babysitting.According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Matheson was reportedly caring for the boy on Friday while the child’s mother was at work.

New Port Richey, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Thomas Matheson, a 27-year-old New Port Richey man was jailed Tuesday after he allegedly twisted the nipples off a 2-year-old boy he was babysitting.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Matheson was reportedly caring for the boy on Friday while the child's mother was at work.
During that time, Matheson twisted and pulled the boy's nipples so hard "the skin covering the nipples was removed," according to the arrest affidavit. Matheson then failed to seek medical attention for the child.
The child's grandmother noticed the injuries later that day and called police.
Investigators say the toddler was taken to a local hospital, where doctors determined that his nipples were unlikely to grow back.
Matheson reportedly admitted to "playing rough" with the child, but stated that he didn't know the child had been injured.
Matheson was booked into the Pasco County Jail and charged with child abuse. He is currently being held in lieu of $20,000 bond.
