Venezuela
abolished visas for Palestinians becoming the first state to permit
free entrance to the citizens of Palestine, having non-member observer
state status at the United Nations.
The agreement was signed in Caracas by the foreign ministers of Palestine and Venezuela. Besides, the sides signed several agreements on cooperation in economy, health, agriculture, tourism, culture and sport, polit.ru reported.
Venezuela also promised to build a hospital in the Palestinian territories.
The resolution on the status of Palestine in the UN was adopted on November 30 by a vote of 138 in favour to nine against with 41 abstentions by the 193-member Assembly.
